Removing snow @ the cabin…
Had to go out to our cabin today to remove some snow from the roof! There were about 90 cm , and that could be a big weight on the cabin when the weather turns! But nice weather when we were there now!

Had to go out to our cabin today to remove some snow from the roof! There were about 90 cm , and that could be a big weight on the cabin when the weather turns! But nice weather when we were there now!

Finally the snow came to Trondheim! It started to snow in 2008 and it has snowed well inn to the new year! Malin enjoyed the snow, and finally got to try out her new skies! Oh and by the way… HAPPY NEW YEAR!

In Norway for Christmas. My father talked about nice weather and lots of snow here when we were in Poland, but as you can see on the picture, there were not much left when we got here!
Here is a little X’mas movie from Anja and Me! Hope you enjoy it!
I have just uploaded some old pictures of me that I have scanned inn! Check them out under the picture section, or just see here!
I hope that you like my new look here on my page, but there will probably still be some changes made! If you have ideas, send them over and I’ll see if I can use them
! Some of the new stuff so far:
Tag Cloud:
In my sidebar you can see a tag cloud. This is a new plug inn I have installed! Its basically a list of all the tags I have made on posts, and if you see something interesting in the “cloud” you can click it, and it will take you to the post(s) that is tagged with that word!
Gravatar:
In the comments section, you can now add you picture! This is a nice little function that works on many pages. You just go to www.gravatar.com and register your e-mail, upload a picture, and you are ready to go! Now every time you use your e-mail address in a comment section (that supports gravatar), your picture will come up! You can register as many e-mails that you want, and have different pictures!
Pictures:
In the “Pictures” tag on the top of my page you will be taken to the pictures on my www.flickr.com account! Here you can look around at my pictures in the album or you can see them in a slide show!
Stay tuned for more updates on www.espis.org

We took a road trip to Warszawa today! Or the trip didn’t go all the way to Warszawa, but ended up @ Ikea, outside Warsaw. Nice trip, got a new bookshelf for the office…

It’s not long until x-mas now! And off course the big malls have already got up their decorations…
This weekend was All Saints Day (1st of November) and All Souls Day (2nd of November), and these are big holidays here in Poland. People pilgrimage to the cemeteries with flowers and lights. Nine out of every ten Poles visit the cemeteries this weekend, and this means of course big traffic problems. When the Poles celebrate something, there is usually alcohol in the picture, and this weekend is no exception… Here are some numbers from the media here in Poland:
Between Friday and Sunday afternoon there were 424 road accidents in which 41 people died and over 500 were injured. 1416 drivers was charged with drunk driving…
Here are some pictures from the cemeteries…
On Friday we were at a party organized by ToB (Taste of Bialystok). It was nice to see all the people again, but not to great show up! Great party, but Saturday became a loooonng day for me…
See pictures taken by Mark @ the party here
Yesterday I wanted to make a stand for my Ipod touch! So after looking through the box my Ipod came in, I got the idea. With all Ipods there is an docking station adapter in the pox, this you can use to make your own stand. Here is a picture of my finished stand! Nice right
So here is how I made it! First you select a cardboard box you want make the station of! I used the box from a Ipod USB Power Adapter I had lying around. The box is a bit bigger then I wanted, but it was the nicest box I had lying around! Then you lay a piece of tracing paper, or similar, over the docking adapter that came in the box with your Ipod and trace the whole the Ipod should stand in, and if you turn the bracket around, you will see a little box sticking out to the back. Remember to cut a hole for that as well! Use the trace you just made, and cut a hole in the box! Now your box should look something like this…

Now it’s just to get the plastic docking adapter to fit in the hole! You may need to do some miner tweaks to the hole to get it to fit smoothly! After it fits nicely, you put some tape on the inside of the box, to make the adapter sit! Then it’s time for the cable! If you set you’r Ipod in the holder, and then plug in the cable from the inside of the box, you will get the correct position the cable needs to have! So back to the trusted roll of tape, and get going! Tape the cable to the box and to the docking adapter! Don’t be shy with tape! Now, all you need to do is make a small insertion in the box for the cable, and your done! It should look something like this now?
